First we had to build our distillator, which was fun because it was like building a lego house. Then we mixed 10 ml of water and 10 ml of alcohol. After starting the bunsen burner and letting it get up to 75ºC we noticed that the mixture started boiling. When it got to 80ºC then the alcohol started dripping in the other end of the distillator. At the end we measured how much liquid we had of each.That's when I realized that both my hypothesis were correct. There was more water that alcohol by only a difference of 2 ml.
